In American English, the word “international” is commonly used as a euphemism for “foreign national.” According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, a foreign national is “an individual who is a citizen of any country other than the United States.” On the contrary, in the European Union a foreign national is someone who is not a citizen of the country in which they are living. So let’s not be confused by the title; this article documents ten beautiful woman that are not from the United States. It will examine a new wave of international models, actresses, and celebrity pop stars. As you can imagine, it was hard to limit the article to ten with so many gorgeous woman. I attempted to categorize the ladies by celebrity status and selected people from all over the world.
10. Leryn Franco
In 1982, Leryn Franco was born in Asunción, Paraguay. She was interested in sports as a young girl and specialized in the javelin throw. In 1998, Franco broke the South American national record for the Under-17 age group in both the javelin and triple jump. She competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and during the games became an Internet sensation due to her beauty. Franco’s personal best javelin throw is 55.66 meters, which was achieved in June, 2011 in Buenos Aires at the South American Championships. Leryn is a great athlete, but is also famous for being one of the sexiest women in the world. She combines her athletic endeavors with a lucrative modeling career. In 2006, Franco was runner-up Miss Universe of Paraguay. She was featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2011.
Is She Single?
After the 2008 Olympic Games Franco was seen with Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, who has been ranked as the world’s #1 player since July 4, 2011. However, the couple quickly split and Leryn’s relationship status remains unclear.
9. Marian Rivera
In 1984, Marian Rivera was born in Madrid, Spain to a Spanish father and Filipina mother. After her parents separated Rivera’s mother moved to the Philippines, where Marian grew up. At a young age, Marian starred in a collection of soap operas. She then moved to full-length feature films and has become a major star in the Philippines. Rivera has appeared in films that have grossed more than PhP 100 million at the box office. These include My Best Friend’s Girlfriend, You To Me Are Everything, and Panday 2. She has also starred on some of the most popular TV shows in the Philippines, such as Marimar, Dyesebel, and Darna.
Marian Rivera has performed the choreography on two studio albums, Marian Rivera Dance Hits (2008) and Retro Crazy (2009), and sang a hit single, “Sabay Sabay Tayo” on Retro Crazy. She is also a successful model and one of the top product endorsers in the Philippines. In 2011, Rivera headlined GMA Network’s epic series Amaya. It was also confirmed that she will partner once again with actor Dingdong Dantes in the most-awaited fantasy series of GMA-7, “My Beloved,” which is currently in pre-production for 2012.

For a couple years Marian has been dating Dingdong Dantes. He is a popular director/actor and model in the Philippines. In 2008, Dingdong was chosen as one of the “25 Sexiest Men of the World” and was the highest-ranking Asian on the list.
